Nice room - a little noisy - Dec 2013
We said in December 2013 and had a great trip. The room is right at the front of the ship and quite a long walk from the rest of the ships fascilities but we felt this was a good comprimise on similar rooms on level 3 or 4 towards the centre of the ship for the same price. As the room is right at the front of the ship we never had any problems with passenger noise. The only negative about the room is that right underneath it is some kind of crew hangout area which you can see when you stand out on the helipad. There are 2 big iron doors to get out there and we heard these opening and closing all night which woke us up. There is also a punching bag hanging from a chain (attached to the stateroom floor) which you can hear being punched and swinging on the chain which was a little annoying. Also being at the front of the ship prepare to be suddenly woken when the ship drops anchor... its right under you and it is LOUD.
