excellent cabin&cruise - Mar 2011

we did Spain&Canaries in March 2011.As stated we were allocated 6624 which is wheelchair friendly which fortunately we didnt need but appreciated.the amount of floor space was amazing, and the wet room more than surpassed expectations.the ship is a work of art,we just could not take it all in.our steward was most obliging, nothing was too much trouble.he always made sure our ice bucket was replenished&his towel folding was amazing!my husband would make trip back to suite just to see what the animal of the day was!one evening we returned to find a plate of chocolate dipped strawberries on our coffee table which was a lovely touch.the food onboard was varied &plentiful.we ate all sorts of cuisines in Windjammer, which was our preferred choice.we did eat in other restaurants which were also good.disappointed with Chops Grill, steak was not cooked to taste&considering you pay supplement for privelige of dining there it was not worth it.entertainment was good, parades were ok but it got a bit congested but worth seeing.Joff Eaton&Steve Davis were great together, their wit&humour were great to listen to.shops I found to be quite expensive,so make sure you do not need to purchase day to day items.there were couple of times during cruise that cigarettes&tobacco were on offer you would not believe the queues&amounts that people were buying.the same was said of spirits which when we were disembarking people were being pulled up for too much duty free goods.so beware!all in all the cruise was so good we are going back next week.
