Carnival Fascination Cabin U241 Cruise Reviews

I'd book U241 again - Aug 2013
I wasn't sure about an Aft cabin due to the additional ship movement, but the larger balcony was worth taking a chance. The balcony was HUGE - just be comfortable with seeing where you've been. We had unobstructed views. The cabin itself was exceptional. There is a window and a glass door that leads to the balcony. Calling this window a picture window is a stretch. The bathroom was nice size-much larger than the bathroom on a Royal Caribbean ship we had on our last cruise. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Only negative is the cabin is above the engine room. Engine noise usually helps me sleep, but every time they change engines it was loud enough that I'd wake up. Also, when in port they'd do maintenance projects. Not very relaxing to sit on the balcony and listen to welding and hammering going on. I felt like I was in a shipyard. The ship movement was felt more in this cabin. During the day, we were either off the ship or at the pool, so it wasn't a big deal. At night, I just went to sleep so it wasn't an issue. Because this cabin is at the back of the ship, it was a long walk to everything. But, that was expected.
