Smallest and least private balcony - Aug 2010

DO NOT BOOK this room! We paid the upgrade price for this "Junior Suite". The balcony was so small that we had to shove the chairs in the corner in order to open the door. Also, this balcony overlooks the stairs leading to the Observation deck. We could literally shake peoples hands! Which means they can see right into your room! We had to keep the curtains drawn at all times. Carnival told us "you picked that room so there is nothing they can do" even though the description while booking says "private balcony". We will be cruise on other cruise lines from now on.
