Carnival Dream cove 2326 - Jul 2014
We have always had an upper deck balcony on Carnival or RC. We opted for a cove balcony this time and will never go back to the upper deck balconies. Not only were we able to enjoy being closer to the sea...but on several occasions we were able to enjoy dolphins (about 20 at a time!!)swimming alongside the ship. Had we been in the upper balconies...we never would have seen this because they would have been blocked by the lifeboats. Also, coming back on the ship following port visits, we never had to wait for an elevator because we just had two short flights of steps to take. We enjoyed being on the port side and were always facing the port on each visit.
